Snowie, man's best friend.

I'm currently mad on watching CSI New York, Miami and Las Vegas every week. CSI is great! Their scripts are just simple awe-inspiring and unbelievable!!

The dog owner told me that it's actually Snowie who chewed off part of my slipper. That was around a month ago i think. In spite of that, Snowie, to me, is super dog. Why super? The truth is, 99% of the dogs around appear to be so stained, annoying and tiger-wanna-be kind, but Snowie is the 1% breed. I should say, "The extraordinary one".

He's spruce, handsome, clean, white and deserved to be cared and admired for.

Even though he ravenously chewed off my slipper intentionally, i have actually forgiven him completely long ago. See, what a humane guy i am! Of cause, it's not because i'm afraid of dogs k, but by reason of Snowie's irresistible look and his blameless act.

I just couldn't stop admiring this doggy...

Smart Dog! *woof*

Snowie and the-brown-dog.

Believe it or not, that brown-looking innocent dog sitting next to Snowie is actually his natural mum. Wow! Who could have believed this! New learning: "Never ever under estimate the capability of a chocolate doggy."

Just yesterday, i received an undesirable news from the dog owner that Snowie was straight off attack by some unknown animal disease early in the morning. The owner rushed Snowie to the vet for medical check-up. Around 2 pm later, the vet called and pronounced the passing of Snowie. He didn't make it. How downcast it is. Such an unwanted lost. =(

It really happened so sudden. I remembered the last time i met Snowie was on Sunday night. I went to the owner's house and waited 10 minutes outside just to make sure Snowie was properly tied up in case he bites me.

Who knows that was actually my last encounter with Snowie. He always waves at his tail to me whenever he sees me. And even so, i am still afraid of Snowie. *hit my own head*

Now i finally fathom the famous phrase,"Dog is man's best friend." Take care, Snowie.

So, I'm looking forward to see you having a dog as one of your best friend.

My Grades

Kuching Festival is coming! Woot! Save up peeps and let's tuck in!

Roasted bird, I'm coming!!

Degree results are out on last Friday. Business, engineering, IT multimedia, computer system and so on. Hands were clenched firmly into tight fists, everyone is hoping for a better grades. Yes, i am one of them.

It took me a while to ruminate on whether or not to publish my results publicly. I have never done this and i'm going to... right now...right here....

Please don't swoon after seeing my results laa... I know it's not that good k. Don't laugh laa... Piak.

Anyway, did you notice that how blessed i am to seize all four grades in one single slip. Lihai le...

I did not anticipate that my Structural Mechanics would chalk up a Distinction. Woot!! Candidly speaking, i did not obtain good marks for my minor assessment and with this, obviously i was only hoping for a Credit. Gave my best shot for my final paper and shockingly enough, i score a Distinction and i even scored 4.00 for my grade, which clearly indicated that with only 1-2 marks to go, i might score a HD. Woot!!!...

Tips of the day: Build a g-o-o-d rapport with your lecturer throughout the 14 weeks, if you want to get good grade. LOL

Topography Engineering. This subject was a complete fiasco to me and to others as well. I scored a P for it. Just to clarify to those un-swinburne-nians, P does not stand for Perfect k, it's Pass.

Wah la mak... Everyone was anticipating for a greater grade especially for this subject. Disaster disaster. Deep breathe in and breathe out. The final paper was so complex and sickening plus 80% of the questions were utterly unsolvable!

Squandered off all of my effort, sweat, time and constant inflammation on my smooth skins caused by the burning sun. **gishh** Okay okay. At least i did not flunk. Give thanks give thanks. =D

Yes!!! I obtained 4.0 and a HD for Computer Aided Engineering. Whoops! Hey, i deserve this 10 seconds of merrymaking's my first HD in my entire Second Year. To make it more precise, **coughcoughdegreecoughcough** The whole world is celebrating! Hooray!!

That's all. I know my results are not of the highest quality to be publicized here. Still, whatever i have achieved, i'm still giving thanks. No more regretting or sighing over for now. I'm focusing more in fixing my time management ahead. New semester is coming in less than a week. New students. New intake. New subjects. New building. New food menu?? LOL!

I can't wait for it! My brain is corroded and overpopulated with sloths. Assignments and stresses are what i'm yearning for right now.

woh~~ structural machenical get 4.00 wo~~ geng

The remedy

Result will be released tomorrow! All the best peeps!

I'm back!

Little updates from me. happy boi? =P

It was supposed to be a wonderful week of relaxation for me. However, **chaos chaos chaos ** out of the blue I was blamelessly attacked by this well known illness, Mr. Headache. It happened just so abrupt. Too sudden, i should say.

On Tuesday afternoon, i went CS-ing with my peeps. And while enjoy getting vanquished by my opponents, there's such ache slowly stirring in my head. **painful!** A great ache! Perhaps this was the main cause of my unexplainable losing excuse with my team. So paiseh arr, Keith and Eric. Actually we can win de, just that ...... Wuahaha...

At night. Another greater and worst scenario occurred.

My supposed-to-be-a-sweet-night turned into a sickening-nightmare. Dreadful. Around 2.30am, the climax happened. Minutes later, i was awakened by this annoying migraine. Sweats just flowed out from my head and body. My brain was whirling with a continuous pain inside. My head was so heated up and it was like burning burning and burning.

Neither pills nor plain water could heal me. Frankly, it was exactly at this unwanted plight where everyone would certainly yowl with deep desperation for the Lord to heal and knowing that i did not have such great strength to overcome my illness. "How can i bear through this pain?" i asked myself.

In a while later, i forced myself to walk down to the kitchen and drenched my dry throat with lots of plain water. And yes, it helped but only for a short while.

**sigh sigh**

Crawling back to my bed, I sheltered my whole body with a thick blanket and forced myself to sleep. Chaos chaos chaos. My body was so weak. I just hoped for an immediate recovery on that particular night, an instantaneous miracle of healing power to be upon my helpless body, yet nothing happened. Such affliction keep knocking me down till i couldn't respond much but to carry this pain to the next day.

Headache was not what i intended at the first place. Nonetheless, two days has passed and i'm healed! woot! Not thoroughly recovered yet, but at least i am feeling much better now compared to the previous days. Woot!

I can get a sniff of life once more. Thanks for all of you who have consistently poured out your concern and warmth to me during my horrible illness, i appreciate it heaps.

Lesson that i have captured: Drink sufficient healthy water. Have a proper sleeping schedule.

One of the reasons why i love my former Secondary School is its location. Huh? Location?

Yeap! Just right in front of SMK Green School, you can catch sight of two rows of famous Kopitiams. For all that, i still remember this very clearly. What's this?

Air Tebu + Air Kelapa

Exactly. Located right in front of Goh Say Lak and beside the Green Road bus stop, you can find a humble looking and grey-haired uncle selling Air Tebu and Air Kelapa. Not a 24/7 open though, You can only find this stall opens at noon. A time where students will rush to this stall and drench their dry throat. I used to be one of this Air Tebu freak.

I presume this uncle's name is Khim Kong. Uncle King Kong's freshly made beverage is really worthwhile and double thumbs up. It's affordable. Rm 1 for one big pack.

Try it!

In's recent post, he commented that Golden Arch serves the best Laksa in Kuching. **puke** What la ............. **puke again**muntah**vomit**

Anyway, I bumped into these two snapshots in my folder that i have captured a few months ago. Okay okay, another Laksa post. hehe.. Jacqueline must be very enthusiastic now.

I always wanted to post up these two pictures by reason of its quality snaps. Satisfying. *wink*

Don't lick your monitor screen. Just be tempted.

It's Foody Goody Laksa actually. Look nice and laksa-licious huh? But this is the laksa taken a few months ago, it's in the past. Now i supposed it tastes terrible, horrible, vegetable, timetable and laksa-lessable.

Okay okay, i promise i will not going to post any laksa pictures for this month. lol...happy boi?

Wah... I miss the ah pek selling air tebu la. I love to drink air tebu campur air kelapa from that uncle. Miss those time.

p/s: Drink more water!!!

By Blogger pmp, at Friday, July 18, 2008 at 12:25:00 PM GMT+8

pmp: yea, i owas order that too. when both mix, it tastes superb!

By Blogger Johnson, at Saturday, July 19, 2008 at 11:41:00 AM GMT+8

At night, got another apek sell char kueh tiaw there. He cycles there with his stove, tong gas and all! Only in the evenings, though. And not every evening!

And I still don't understand why you keep going back Foody-Goody. Despite Abubu's, YOUR OWN and my warning about the lousiness of the food there. Maybe you just like to see ah gua? Hahahaah.

I mean, got SO MANY places to eat good laksa. You just HAD to keep going back to Foody-Goody.

Foody "bady" Laksa

The BIGGEST room in the world, is neither living room nor master room. It's the room of IMPROVEMENT.

Yeaps. Kolet kolet.

Another Laksa's post. So 'please' bear with me yea. *wink*

I went to Foody Goody food court twice in a row recently and of cos not to sneak at those akua k but to devour my favorite LAKSA!!! **slurp**

And yes, this has clearly indicated that I am always and forever an absolute faithful Laksa conqueror. I'm loving it.

Foody Goody Cafe. Proud to say that ever since this Laksa stall has just opened, i have already started to eat theirs which means aournd 4-5 years back.

I have missioned myself to try out every possible Laksa in Kuching and frankly, this Foody Goody's Laksa always serves relatively satisfying and beyond average tang compares to others. Yes, it's true. Unbeaten, i should say.

However, this is the past.

Now, the present.

The Laksa that i have taken for the past two times was rather disappointing.

The recent photo taken

The gravy of it is quite bland. If it is one time, okay. People make mistakes. I forgive. But it's exactly twice in a row that i tried and the flavor is no more flavorsome as before.

The taste is not longer consistent and alluring. The prawn is getting smaller and shorter. The quality and quantity are gradually downgrading. Bad.

I know i used to be a strong supporter for Foody Goody Laksa, maybe i should start searching for other stall to support.

**Note:I know Abubu is smiling right now**

Happy, anti Foody Goody peeps? =P

Be that as it may, let's put Foody Goody Cafe aside and let's bring in "Golden Arch laksa" at this minute.

Well well, some may agree and some may dispute.

Honestly, i have never never never ever ever ever included Golden Arch Laksa into my Top 5 Ranking. Okay okay, not even Top 10.

True, different people have different taste. But hey, I went to Golden Arch this morning to take a closer look at their laksa just to prove that i'm wrong and ...

Wad say u?

Terrible. The gravy is undoubtedly beyond my imagination. Seriously, b-e-y-o-n-d.

Okay, the one and only specialty that i can possible find in this laksa is the prawns. The prawns look like mini lobsters, still it won't augment the smack of the gravy or even the laksa itself right?

No offend though. Bad bad bad. I tried to unearth the constructive comment for this Golden Arch's Laksa. And sadly to say, i just couldn't find one. Paiseh, Golden Arch.

By the way, it's Rm 4.50 for one normal bowl eh! No play play. I repeat, Rm 4.50!!!!

So, still have the nerve to go there, Golden Arch's supporters ? =P

Okay okay, enough of criticisms.

I went to Full House, 3rd mile two days ago to have my brunch and thankfully they serve reasonable, tasty, fulfilling quality and quantity. If not ..... **evil laugh**

Cantonese Fried Bihun

Looks good?

Butter Chicken Noodle

Looks tempting? Yes, it's nice.

**Please, don't lick your monitor screen k.**

I'm drooling now. Self-control, Johnson~

lol i thought it tasted ok at foody goody? After all, you "forced" me to eat it when I told you I didn't like laksa remember? haha
