Indefinable handiwork by the One

There are definitely things for us to enjoy and cherish everyday in our life. Regardless of how hectic is your day. All we need is to dig out a portion of our time and observe the beautiful creation of the One has created.

Last Friday, i guess many of you know that there was one uncommon phenomenon occurred at the sky. It was a rainbow in the shape of a ring surrounded the sun. While i was chatting on msn, i was notified by my friend about this incident. And what? Go out and look at the sun ? Absolutely lunatic! Who will do that? Probably this is one of the ways of how people can get murdered. Look at the sun with naked eyes.

When i gazed up to the sky,

GOSSSHH ...

5 seconds of speechless ...

I was pretty nimble in mind that i took out my camera and had a snapshot of it. No worries. I were also smart enough to protect my eyes by wearing sunglasses while capturing those pictures. Unfortunately, the rainbow ring was too huge to be captured wholly by my cam's lens.

What to do? I wished that i could dig the earth. Okay, i am just blah-ing.

Notwithstanding, thanks to Canon INUX 750 for providing such service, I have taken a video of it. Pandai le..... So, for those who did not manage to watch this live. You are at the right blog, at the right time, at the right place, at the right (..fill in the blank yourself..) .

I read the newspaper on last Saturday, and i came across with this "Sundog" phenomenon article. It stated there:

What? When rare things occur at the sky, Fengsui senseh will predict that something bad will betide. Choy choy choy... Further more , when i continued my reading, I dipped into something nonsensical. Check it out.

Again? This Mr. Sensah really gifted in prophecy. "It will rain and rain...." Choy Choy. Does that mean that Kuching will going to have Tsunami? or Noah's flood? Choy Choy, for those who don't know how to swin. All the best yea. Choy again!

That was just Fengsui's opinion.

Okay. Personally, I am pretty amazed by such painting. Seriously, where on earth can you find such paintings? Beyond imaginations and words, it was beautifully and perfectly painted by someone. Neither the world famous artists, Leonardo Da Vinci nor Pablo Picasso can draw such painting. Simply indefinable and incomparable.

Undoubtedly, we are all packed with our busy schedule daily. On and off, we just got to take a short break. Gaze up to the sky, take a deep breath and be endowed with the wondrous things surrounded you.

Enjoy watching.

For God has created everything, we are yet to fully discover and appreciate it. All we need is to give God "a little portion of our time."

~*Psalm 106:1*~

Praise the LORD. Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; His love endures forever.

I missed this rare opportunity!! Alahai~ Hahaha.

What's with all this talk about bad luck. When God don't show people how cool He is, people say He has left the world behind. Sekali He tunjuk His awesomeness, people say it is bad luck. Such a 'grateful' crowd hor. People are so hard to please ba.

Well, I doesn't think the rainbow is going to be anything bad. The first rainbow appeared on earth was after Noah's flood. God uses the rainbow to make a covenant with us that thw World will no longer be destroyed by big flood like in Noah's time. In my opinion, I think that the rainbow is to remind us that God is GREAT!

How Great is our God
by Chris Tomlin
album: Arriving (2004)
The splendor of the King, clothed in majesty
Let all the earth rejoice
All the earth rejoice

He wraps himself in Light, and darkness tries to hide
And trembles at His voice
Trembles at His voice

How great is our God, sing with me
How great is our God, and all will see
How great, how great is our God

Age to age He stands
And time is in His hands
Beginning and the end
Beginning and the end

The Godhead Three in One
Father Spirit Son
The Lion and the Lamb
The Lion and the Lamb

How great is our God, sing with me
How great is our God, and all will see
How great, how great is our God

Name above all names
Worthy of all praise
My heart will sing
How great is our God

How great is our God, sing with me
How great is our God, and all will see
How great, how great is our God (x2)

Great, finally..long awaited new post. Wow, the video is nice bro. Finally, there's something that I can download off ur website now...haha...actually, I think a lot of ppl miss out on the secondary rainbow when the sun dog was there. However, if u take a closer look at ur video clip at about 14-17 seconds, u actually captured the secondary rainbow which wasn't that obvious yet at that time. But hey, U got it on ur clip!!! :@) Thanks for the info on the newspaper report...never knew they even went to the extreme of interviewing a feng shui guy on this issue...must be a chip-plak newspaper, which paper is that? Will make sure not to read it in future and u can stop subscribing to it as well. Hahaha...ok ok...more posts pls...hehehe....

Relief *Updated*

Finally, the bloody combat between me and my final exam is officially over. I am totally FREE now. Don't get me wrong. **cough**Girls, please don't get over excited **cough cough**. What I'm trying to emphasize here is not that "I am CHEAP and without charge", but I am currently exempted from exam for the time being.

Indeed, it is really homely to be back in this blog sphere again. I do apologise to my readers for the long wait.

1 week ago, i have planned out my study schedule. Remember this quote "Sleep Less, Study More"? Okay, i got to admit that it was really unhelpful to me. Instead of studying more, i tend to study less. During the study week, my close friend "Mr. Lazy" visited me AGAIN. Personally, I regretted for inviting "it" into my mind, moreover it was during my study week!

.........Speechless....

I was just 75% prepared for the battle.

Day 1. Engineering Maths.

Continue...

I find this pretty amusing. We, as Malaysian students, tend to grab our books tightly one week before our actual exam. Agree? We just love to be "Last-minute" heroes everytime when we face exam. Even we become more KUT LAK than the ants.

My mum always remind me with her so called motivation quote over and over again everytime when she notices that I am doing my revision one week before my exam.

She says,
" (In hokkien) Si la, Sai lao jia choi jam ban. "
(Translation) Yeala, shit already flow out baru find toilet." No doubt, that's my attitude.

The thought is, " If only we prepare our study early............... "

In University, one semester usually consists of 14 weeks. If every students started to pull their socks since week 1, I can ensure that Swinburne will sooner become bankrupt in offering each of the students a scholarship. No doubt that Swinburne University will become the next **cough Harvard University cough**.

What is the exact Stumbling Block that caused students to be so unprepared?

Over this fourteen weeks, this virus has been spreading extremely fast in the wrong approach among my peeps. None other than ------ SLEEP------

Yeap. Sleeping or in another word, Hibernating, has now becoming one of the prominent diversions in Swinburne this semester. Basically, i have no idea how and who started to spread this virus all over the place.

**Give credit to Aldrin wong & Kwan Yang for their contribution in these photos.

Since week one.......

We just love to SLEEP.....

Sleep.. Sleep....

Candidly, I have been observed one guy(picture below) since months ago. This guy was so eerie. Everytime when the lectures start just 5 minutes, he will be floating in his dream already. Seriously, it was so funny.

He even dare to sleep in front of the lecture, who was just 2 meters away!!!

Probably, students prefer to sleep than study in school.

~*Read story book also will tidur.....*~

Z ..zz...... ZZZ ..ZZz ....

~*Minutes before presentation, Eric
was still so comfortable in his rendezvous with his sleeping monarch.*~

~* Take a look at how Wui Jie nod off. Those who think that he almost palangtin please sit on the chair now. Imagine this, with his formal shirt and with his both arms' pose. I'm wondering how cool he will be in his workplace in the coming future. *evil laugh*

~*Our sluggishness also affects our Ge_ius*~

Every students is so inactive when it comes to STUDY. I doubt that sooner or later Swinburne University should come out with a sleeping faculty.

Lastly, not forgetting myself in the "sleeping list" too.

Just hibernating..........

P/s: All the best for those who are still sitting for their exams this week.

Tittle-tattle:
Happy 19th birthday to Shan Shan and Wui Jie.

And by the way, next time u wana sleep, remember the story in the Bible when Jesus asked the disciples to pray but they fell asleep in the garden...u know how sad He was right? Foody-Goody Laksa

It has been a long wait for me to promulgate this "laksa" post in my blog and finally. When it comes to the Best Kuching Laksa, I guess most of the Kuchingnites will automatically become

Where to get Kuching Best Laksa?

Some says it's Golden Arch Laksa. Some says it's Chong Choon Cafe, Jalan Abell. Some says KingCentre. Some says FatCat and so forth. As ones' saying: Different people different taste. Nonetheless, I would prefer and highly rated Foody-Goody Laksa as Kuching Number One. Seriously, the laksa there is so much different compares to other stalls. It's totally indescribable. You just have to give your tongue a taste of it!

In school, i have tried to explain and express out how luscious of this laksa. But being a N-A-T-O (no action, talk only) guy is not effectual, so i've decided to organise a Lung Jia Ping trip for my school friends to conquer Foody-Goody Laksa at 7.30am yesterday.

Foody-Goody Cafe, located at Tabuan Laru beside Kuching Specialist Hospital.

7.30am. Might be slightly too early. But just for the sake of enough sitting for everyone, we got to sacrifice our sleep. Unmistakably, my prediction was so accurate. Avery missed it due to his addiction in sleeping. Some of them came late Asian culture, not 5 minutes, 20 minutes, but ONE hour ! Nevermind. Lung Jia Ping's leader always patient.

We ordered 5 bowls of normal laksa, 1 big laksa-mee & 1 big laksa.

Laksa........

More..... Laksa.....

More .....more ...... more ..... Laksa !!

Oh man! C'mon! It is so mouth-watering. With those big-fatty fresh prawns on it. Uh-LA-LA.. I warn you, make sure your nasty saliva does not ruin those laksa pictures.

Other than just having laksa, you can also eat "Dog Bones" aka. You Cha Kueh. 40 sen per stick. Kinda expensive. Special order with Kaya stuffed inside the Dog Bones, cost you 80sen PER STICK!! Okay, no complain. People are doing their business.

You hadn't really been to Kuching until you've personally tasted our own Kuching Laksa. Unlike, Penang Laksa which has officially corrupted the origin taste of LAKSA.

Wishes: All the best for those who sit for their Final exam next week.

Study excellently for Final Exam

**I'm quite busy with my revision and reports. I've try my best to dig out a portion of my time to update my post.**

After I have handed in 3 reports on Friday at 5.30pm, i could at last relieve 30% of my stress.

One week before Final exam!

This semester, I've taken 4 subjects: Engineering Maths 1, Energy & Motion, Mechanics of Structure and Professional Engineering. Thanks to Swinburne Education Department that I don't have to sit for my final for Professional Engineering. It doesn't mean that I've barred from this subject. It is just so happened that there is no final examination to sit for. Assignments +reports + minor tests= Final result. Hopefully i will get a good grade of becoming a Prooo--fes--sion---nal engineer. Okay, not funny.

Nevertheless, I have 3 subjects to mug up within one week. Stress Stress Stress. I've a few chapters yet to study. I know nothing about those chapters, especially the last few chapters in Mechanics of Structure....errgghhh...need help!!

Here's my Final exam schedule.

Notwithstanding, I have planned out my sketchy timetable for this one whole week. It's comprehensible enough for me to take note.

Kinda cool yea! "Sleep less, Study more". I do admit that I'm quite lazy for the past few weeks. But for this coming week, I will definitely going to DISCIPLINE myself to study hard. If those who see me of being lazy again, please PIAK me gentlely. Besides that, i believe that Uni-students need inspiration to study well. So to work out on this, i have personally designed an impactful banner for myself.

If you want this banner with your name in it, tell me. I'll do one for you for free.

Nevertheless, I will commit all of my studies into God's hand. And will keep my friends in prayer too. Study hard and smart to all Swinburne's Baboons! Let's pia together then we junks those tong sampah!! Hope this post has buoied up those inactive and Bo-liang-Bo-Juak students eric. Cheers!

How creative can you be? -Advertisement-

Prior to the launching of this blog, i never thought of earning any money or having advertisements in my blog. All I yearn for is to write my weekly thoughts and be as creative as i can in blogging. Untill when I was introduced to a blog advertising community, Nuffnang, which simply means "Real Good/Cool ".

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Basically, this is a newly-formed community. Purpose: To create an opportunity for local advertisers to reach out and experience the power of blog advertising in Malaysia. Besides that, it allows local bloggers to earn money on condition that the advertiser has chosen their blog to advertise. Wow!! This is so Nuffnang-ing!

Recently, two company, Sportsplanet & Exabytes June Campaign choose to advertise at my blog. Okay, i'm overjoyed. When it comes to advertisement, i believe that the company should be creative in designing their banner. Using phrases or quotes that can easily attract bloggers. If not..... Who will going to click on it. This two advertisement's banners are satisfactory.

Take a look at Sportsplanets' banner.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Okay. Any comments? I know it sounds quite weird when it says "Would you bathe with a futsal ball ?". This is so lame. Being creative doesn't mean that you should be LAME in order to attract ones' heed. Probably, in Malaysia it is the other way round. "The lamer it goes, the more attractive it is." I guess so.

Not till, a few weeks ago, i noticed a very amusing quote from a well-known company, KFC. Colonel-Rice-combo, one of the likeable meals of everyone, including me. But it's really fishy if you take a look at the phrase that KFC used to promote their meal. And it was so hilarious!

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

"We must have rice! So we can open bottles without help!". Goshhh.............

Tittle-tattle:

Millions thanks to those who gave me comments on my previous post regarding choosing pda or hp. Appreaciate it alot. I've made up my mind to buy a mobile phone, and when i'm in the working world, i will then consider a Pda. Agree now? hehe.. But the next question, "What kind of mobile phone should i buy?"

Comments:

Wah. I prefer adverts to be witty. Especially the ones shown during commercial breaks on TV! Then at least those 5-10 minutes of waiting for the show to resume won't be so boring.

PDA vs. Mobile Phones

Many people keep asking me to change my Nokia 5210 to a newer phone. Simply because it's quite old-fashioned and pretty antique compares to a lot of the latest mobile phones in town now. Baboons, like Aldrin, Kwan Yang and Eric keep criticizing me from times to times. Keep brandishing the softwares they have in their hand phones. Camera la.....3G la........ Mp3 player la......Video recorder la....COLOR SCREEN la..... blah blah blah... Never mind, at least my phone still has one ultimate strength that their phones do not have. That is the SOLIDITY of my tortoise shell. Dare me to wrack my Batu phone towards your N73, K618i and K610i. **Evil laugh**

Okay, go straight to the point.

Recently i have the keenness to change my current handphone. There is ones' saying, "The old must go, so that the new can come". But i'm still baffling on what kind of phones should i take. I'm considering to get a PDA phone. Why? I can write my notes. Learning stuffs. Store a Bible Software into it and a lot more yet to discovered.

I'm in confusion now. Should I get a mobile phones or PDA ???? Or just a mobile phones, then what brand of the phone should i take??

I don't want to feel regretful after all! Help!! Give me your comments and suggestions on what phones should i buy. The pros and cons. Thanks!

Comments:

get a PDA lar...but at the same time still keep your 5210...i feel that its not so easy to dial numbers using a PDA.

when u got both and people kacau u that your fon is jus 1 piece of crap, just flash yer PDA at them and if they want to see, dont let them see =D

By Blogger abubu, at Friday, June 1, 2007 at 8:39:00 PM GMT+8

----------------------------------------------------------

The thing to ask yourself is, would you really use all the features in the PDA? Or is it a necessity to have a phone with so many functions. ;)

Yeah, I know that people with 3G phones don't really use the 3G capabilities anyways. But that question IS the big question to ask yourself lor.

By Blogger saykhia, at Friday, June 1, 2007 at 9:57:00 PM GMT+8

----------------------------------------------------------

abubu: haha..you are so witty! Funny guy! Quite true also, when i flash the pda, i also wrack my 5210 at theirs'. haha..

Saykhia: 3G, yea lo...still kek me with 3G. Now Japan starts to use 4G already lo. haha. yeayea.. Good ques! And thanks for the websites!

DiGi cannot use 3G..

By Blogger Eric, at Saturday, June 2, 2007 at 1:41:00 PM GMT+8

----------------------------------------------------------

Well Johnson. I have to agree with what saykhia says. It all depends on yourself.

Are you going to use the features in the PDA phone. Is it feasible for you to get one?

Compare the features of the mobile phone and also the PDA phone.

To me I will only get a PDA phone when I am a working adult. As a student now there is no point for me get a PDA phone.

A normal phone is more than enough for me to use as long as I can use it to call, sms, take funny pics and listen to music. If let just say 3G phones. What is the point of getting it? when there aren't any telco-companies providing 3G services in S'wak let alone Kuching.

If they start crapping about 3G you ask them what is the point when the phone has the capabilities and you can't use it?

Just my 2 cents opinion.

yesterdat u may be buy a PDA...but u really need it...it not cheap u know! i think a student no need buy PDA...but it also need to depend ur decision la...u find slowly...dun too rush so that u can find a better and the one u like...u can ask for our opinion la...hehe...will try to give u some logic opinion...ok? dun worry...

If a phone... need nice design, can call, can msg, can listen to music, can listen to radio, can put memory card, camera at least 2mpx.enough liao.. not need 3G, no use de.. and make sure your new ph can last for another 6 years... haha

well... mayb an average handphone is more then enough. If pda, erm... u might think over if there is too much functions but u don fully utilize it, it sounds like a waste of money while an average handphone like smartphone would do n sufficient 4 all sort of job. Can even store bible programme in it. Like what most of us say so functionality and usage. D final ans is in ur hand... haha

hey johnson...buying a hp or pda...it all depends on what kind of personality you have...coz if ur a tech whiz, crazy over functions or something like that...get a pda...if ur just a normal school kid who has no time for stuffs, loves smsing and miss-calling...normal phone with basic functions is enough...if u like to camwhore and take pictures with ur mobile phone (since u blog too)...get a phone with great MP...but the best are...smart phones...xD its combine pda and mobile phone...buh, what am i babbling about? lol, seriously its true...=)
