"The old has gone and the new has come."
With these, it brings me to another level of maturity. Anyway, I wouldn't write much about my 2007 since i have consistently updated myself in various posts.
So ...
The first day of 2008 will be slightly different compares to the past few years. Why? I will be running in a Jogathon race. Yea man. Jogathon eh..no play play. **clap clap** Johnson will not going to have an uneventful "New Day" anymore!
A fund raising for my church pledge. It will start off at 7.00am at MBKS.
After short consideration, i have made up my mind to compete in the Men's Open, the longest route. With those pro runners and uncles... **pressure eh** Still, never ever underestimate my capability k,
Okay i admit, I myself is not a good and consistent runner. Everyone can run. But running in a marathon is utterly a different case. It requires much endurance, physically and mentally well-prepared, and training!
The only concern is I am not prepared! My aim is certainly not to win the race
But not to give up yet, I have done some research on preparation prior and during the race.
Before: Sleep early and Eat well.
During: Make sure my body will not get dehydrated. So keep drinking water while running!
**Can Johnson finish his first ever Jogathon race or he will pengsan half way through?**
Comments:
haha... good luck for your new year race!!! ^^

----------------------------------------------------------Hahaha. Johnson cannot run in the category 18 years and below. So sad. Old already. Do make sure when you run you bring your handphone with you. So that we can go and pick you up when your 2 legs are unable to mave already. Wait for you at the finishing line oh.

Remember Reservoir Park? I think the jogathon is equivalent to around ten laps or so ;)
Anyways. All the best!

----------------------------------------------------------wow!!! Jia you oh...
----------------------------------------------------------I notice that the services in Pizza Hut is getting worst and worst. Why ah?
It's all down to the last four days before the year 2007 is officially over. Undoubtedly that time is moving so fast even without our consciousness. When we are so caught up with our achievements, our hectic schedules tie us up, the misused of a portion of our spare time.
So ....
As the year 2008 is approaching, i am gonna plan for a fresh New Year resolutions. New goals New vision. **laugh laugh**
I believe the starting days of new year are the most crucial in order to plan for the entire year. Having a fresh aim with full determination and will.
Gaining weight...?
Sleep less??
**Thinking thinking**
Tittle-tattle:
I am participating a short marathon on the 1st of January. My first ever public run man!! Wish me the best and no pengsan half way through!

----------------------------------------------------------Two Christmas movies that i watched yesterday, The Christmas Shoes and The Christmas Visitor. Fantastic movies! You must watch!
Ever wonder how Kuchingites celebrates Christmas?
I couldn't reckon on another place in Kuching that has a giant Christmas tree. Plus, it is really out of the ordinary to spot on a Christmas tree in Kuching.
Seemingly, the response from the crowd was kinda dispirited. Not till when the MC invited those little ones to collect their gifts from Santa Claus, and the reaction from the public suddenly changed ...
Okay, this is the thing that i want to emphasize on. Something that is so distracting and weird.
From far, it looks like a machine spurted out snow ice into the air. Looks cool yea. However ..
Walking closer and touching it, i then realized that it was actually shampoo bubbles flying around, instead of having real ice. Swt... Few bubbles went into my eyes, and my eyes were so sakit ...
At least, we improved our celebration here ...

----------------------------------------------------------Frankly, whenever it comes to Christmas mood, one place that keep crossing my mind is "Singapore's Orchard Road". Goshh... I am and still miss the superb atmosphere and EVERYTHING at orchard road during this season. The celebration, the wonderful decoration, the public ....... Someone please bring me there NOW! =P
I was flipping through the newspaper just now and i stumbled upon this interesting article at the main page -"Santa goes commercial", "Is there anyone who knows what Christmas is all about?" Candidly, as year passes by, the celebration of the origin Christmas has slowly diluted and turned into a commercial. Why does this happen?
I am certain that most of us are hectic in cracking our minds of what presents to purchase for our friends. Yet, beyond all these, we should really take an inner understanding of the Christmas is actually about. Truly nowadays people are gradually blanking out the significance meaning of Christmas, and Christmas has turned into a commercial. Sad to say that Christmas day is no longer a symbolic of the birth of Jesus Christ.
The fulfillment of the Messiah prophecy. The birth of Jesus was foretold by the Prophet Isaiah many hundreds years ago before the birth. And it was fulfilled. **Amazed**
Isaiah 7:14
"Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel."
Matthew 1:23
"The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel, which means "God with us."
Let's not neglecting the First Love. Wouldn't write much, I have uploaded two of my favorite Christmas songs. Enjoy listening and let them bring forth the wonderful message.
**Enjoy listening and sing along.**
Christmas is about His glory
Christmas is about His grace
Christmas is a gift of love, Our Father gave us
More than just another story
About a special time and place
Christmas is a time to live the song of praise
Chorus:
For God is with us
As we celebrate the glory of His presence
Christ has come to fill our hearts with love
He came to save us
King of kings and Lord of lords
His Name is Jesus
God with us, Emmanuel has come
Verse 2:
Angel fills the night with singing
God is reaching out to men
Bringing us a gift of hope in Christ our Savior
More than just a time of giving
This is God's eternal plan
Christmas is the reason we can sing again
Oh Holy Night
Verse:
The stars are brightly shining
IT is the night of our dear Savior's birth
Now long lay the world in sin and error pining
Till He appeared and the soul felt it's worth
The thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices
For yonder breaks, a new and glorious morn
Oh hear the angel voices
Oh night divine
Oh night when Christ was born
Oh night divine, Oh night
Oh night divine
Comments:
Indeed, the true reason for Christmas must never be forgotten. And the spirit to promote is of love and a giving heart...so let me test urs..."where's my gift?" :D Anyway, there's 12 days for u to prepare in case u haven't. Hiak hiak. Merry Christmas and have a Blessed New Year 2008. GBU bro.

In this Christmas I remember Jesus. I remember about give and receive the love. But I remember my gift too!!! Gift! Gift! Gift!
Merry Christmas.
Just a short clarification, most of the pictures posted up in the previous post are not my masterpiece. It's from one of my church bro. But... of cause, i would always have the aspiration to upgrade my photographing skills. Wuahahaha...
In spite of that, I did enjoy every program. Yet, what I was even more fervent in looking forward to was the preaching section.
1) Notebook
2) Bible
3) Pencil
4) Heart
5) Enthusiasm !!!
Preparing for the Journey.
People who are well prepared seemed uncommonly blessed to be at the right place and at the right to take up opportunities that have opened up before them. It has nothing to do with luck. It has everything to do with preparedness such that when the opportunity arises, you are ready to take it!"I will prepare and someday my chance will come." Abraham Lincoln
"Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe." Abraham Lincoln--Preparation is paramount to success.
--The bible teaches us how to live and how to die. Live for Christ and Die to self.
--None of us can do everything, but all of us can do something.
--Allow the spirit of God to work in you before through you.
--Many of us will get down in the journey, but don't get out from the journey!
"Either sin will keep you away from the bible, or the bible will keep you away from sin." D.L Moody.

Taking Others Along With Me.
Have you ever compared the difference between traveling alone and traveling with others? For one, traveling with others is more fun! How can i bring others along with me on this journey and what will we do together during the journey?
To bring others along to fulfill the vision is to train and mentor others, so that we can have more workers for God's work.
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
--We can impress others from far, but to impact others, we need to come close to them.
--Be aware of leaders that don't obey their leaders.
--Spirit is caught, not taught.
--The last 10% is the maximum growth and gain.
--No one is made to be perfect. Perfectly imperfect is also a perfection!
--The best way to learn is to teach.
--People who neglect the Word, will never grow.
--Renewing our commitment with God and one another.
--Do not disappear and shrink back.
The unconditional J.O.Y of serving together.

----------------------------------------------------------Last Saturday i have just attended an interview for a part time job at *********. Still waiting for the call. Hopefully i can get it. So that i can work in The Spring. Wuahaha..
------------------------------------------------
Opening Ceremony. To officially start off the entire convention, we had our Opening Ceremony which was incorporated of the three mascots: Ants, Geese and Penguins. I don't have a video of it, so you try to visualize every moment by looking at these pictures lo..k? =P
Aduh.. so scary-looking goose during make up.
*Peace* Should look more jolly like this penguin ma...
The Ants
Learning to fly.
Besides that, i was given a chance to play conga for the first time in this convention. Not sure whether my technique of playing was right or not, cause i hurt both my palm hands a few hours later after playing. Terribly painful!
Absolutely great experience and refreshing moment. Let these snapshots speak and express its own integrity sentiment.
Every beat
Every strum
Even in just playing guitar during ushering.
" ... and shout for joy! "
... It is just so awesome and refreshing to dwell in His presence ...
