Frankly, whenever it comes to Christmas mood, one place that keep crossing my mind is "Singapore's Orchard Road". Goshh... I am and still miss the superb atmosphere and EVERYTHING at orchard road during this season. The celebration, the wonderful decoration, the public ....... Someone please bring me there NOW! =P
I was flipping through the newspaper just now and i stumbled upon this interesting article at the main page -"Santa goes commercial", "Is there anyone who knows what Christmas is all about?" Candidly, as year passes by, the celebration of the origin Christmas has slowly diluted and turned into a commercial. Why does this happen?
I am certain that most of us are hectic in cracking our minds of what presents to purchase for our friends. Yet, beyond all these, we should really take an inner understanding of the Christmas is actually about. Truly nowadays people are gradually blanking out the significance meaning of Christmas, and Christmas has turned into a commercial. Sad to say that Christmas day is no longer a symbolic of the birth of Jesus Christ.
The fulfillment of the Messiah prophecy. The birth of Jesus was foretold by the Prophet Isaiah many hundreds years ago before the birth. And it was fulfilled. **Amazed**
