The Heartbeat of Jesus is "Mission".
It is written in the book of Matthew 28:18-20,
Some sentences that really convinced me of how important this Great Commission are the sentence, "Go and make disciples". Winning people to know the good news is not enough but "teaching them to obey everything I [Jesus] have commanded you". With this, we are doing something further. More than having just adding another believers of God into the Kingdom of God, we will going to build strong and biblical disciples [followers of Christ] and to plant strong and biblical churches all over the world.
-Mission- Last year, our church has sent Kakak Magerita and Heng Wei to plant a seed church at East Timor. This year and this month, our church will be sending out another young couple, Deric & Annie to go forth to the land of Kazakhstan for International Mission.

For those who are studying in Smk Green Road, this guy might looked familiar to you right? Or he even taught you before. Yeayea, Cikgu Deric tu~~
Someone that really impacted my life so much to serve God with extra energetic spirit, he is none other than Deric himself. This uncle is truly a great mentor and leader to me over this past few years. 8 years ago, he founded Hope Kota Semarahan with Annie, and now Hope Kota Semarahan consists more than 50+ members. Praise the Lord. The enthusiasm and excitement Deric and Annie have in serving, never complains, never argues; but a willingness and a humble heart to be avail themselves to serve in ministry really admire me alot. Deric, one of my cold jokes buddies too. Seeing them everytime in church, one thing that keeps poping up in my mind is the "Great Commission". 30/05/2007
They will land at the land of Kazakhstan on this wednesday. I have no idea what will they going to eat. Horse's eyes? Cow's eyes? Owwhhh... Last night, we all went to K.I.A (Kuching International Airport) to send them.

Johnson, you don't need to wait till you finish your study than you can preach the gospel. You can do it now, in your current position. God put us into different position so we can serve Him in many different areas. Not everyone is going to be a missionaries or pastor or reverend.. But rememeber in Matthew 28:18-20,
Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
The you in the verse refers to us.

Great post bro. May God continue to bless Deric & Annie abundantly in Kazakhstan. I believe most of us will miss them but the most important thing is to keep them in prayer. So where r u planning to go? Africa? Saudi? Or Mongolia? Haha...I like the penguin icon...very cute... :@) GBU bro.
