How creative can you be? -Advertisement-

Prior to the launching of this blog, i never thought of earning any money or having advertisements in my blog. All I yearn for is to write my weekly thoughts and be as creative as i can in blogging. Untill when I was introduced to a blog advertising community, Nuffnang, which simply means "Real Good/Cool ".

Basically, this is a newly-formed community. Purpose: To create an opportunity for local advertisers to reach out and experience the power of blog advertising in Malaysia. Besides that, it allows local bloggers to earn money on condition that the advertiser has chosen their blog to advertise. Wow!! This is so Nuffnang-ing!

Recently, two company, Sportsplanet & Exabytes June Campaign choose to advertise at my blog. Okay, i'm overjoyed. When it comes to advertisement, i believe that the company should be creative in designing their banner. Using phrases or quotes that can easily attract bloggers. If not..... Who will going to click on it. This two advertisement's banners are satisfactory.

Take a look at Sportsplanets' banner.

Okay. Any comments? I know it sounds quite weird when it says "Would you bathe with a futsal ball ?". This is so lame. Being creative doesn't mean that you should be LAME in order to attract ones' heed. Probably, in Malaysia it is the other way round. "The lamer it goes, the more attractive it is." I guess so.

Not till, a few weeks ago, i noticed a very amusing quote from a well-known company, KFC. Colonel-Rice-combo, one of the likeable meals of everyone, including me. But it's really fishy if you take a look at the phrase that KFC used to promote their meal. And it was so hilarious!

"We must have rice! So we can open bottles without help!". Goshhh.............

Tittle-tattle:

Millions thanks to those who gave me comments on my previous post regarding choosing pda or hp. Appreaciate it alot. I've made up my mind to buy a mobile phone, and when i'm in the working world, i will then consider a Pda. Agree now? hehe.. But the next question, "What kind of mobile phone should i buy?"

Comments:

Wah. I prefer adverts to be witty. Especially the ones shown during commercial breaks on TV! Then at least those 5-10 minutes of waiting for the show to resume won't be so boring.
